Women in Overdrive

Nora Isaacs, formerly a senior editor at Yoga Journal, is a freelance health journalist and writing coach. Her work has appeared in Alternative Medicine, Yoga Journal, Body & Soul, Fit Yoga, Salon.com, Natural Health, the San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, and many other national and regional publications. Isaacs earned her MA from Columbia Journalism School. She writes and teaches yoga in San Francisco, where she lives with her husband and baby son.
