About the Author

Green Tile Social Club is a mahjong community based in New York City and founded by four Asian American friends: Ernest Chan, Grace Liu, Sarah Teng, and Joanne Xu. They host pop-up mahjong events around the city to help young Asian Americans (re)connect with community and culture, offering a social-first, accessibility-first approach to Chinese mahjong, and a real-world-tested approach to teaching the game.
